butternut squash soup - the sequel (now with kale and chicken!)

A couple of weeks ago I shared a fruit-only butternut squash soup. Tonight I made another version with some chicken and veggies for a FANCIER meal.


Ingredients:

Sautéed Chicken Breast, Diced
Chopped Kale Stalks
1 Can of Black Beans
1 Butternut squash
2 cups of Chicken Broth
1/2 cup of Jalepenos
1/2 Lime 
Sea Salt to taste 
1 Clove of Garlic

Directions:

Cut the squash into 8 large pieces.  Boil until soft. Purée the butternut squash with 1 cup of chicken broth.  Mix all ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.
