tropical quinoa breakfast

As part of the cleanse, we eat quinoa or rice in the morning to help clean out our systems. I've never been a fan of either, especially in the morning. So, here is an attempt at being creative with the A.M. quinoa. This recipe makes 2-4 servings, depending on your serving size. 

Ingredients:

1 cup of water
1 cup of all natural pineapple juice
1 orange
1 mango, finely chopped
1 cup quinoa hot cereal flakes
Fresh raspberries 
Dash of salt
Ground Cloves
1 tsp honey (optional)

Instructions:

Bring water to a boil. Squeeze in juice from orange. Add pineapple juice and mango and boil together for 1-2 minutes. Add quinoa flakes and cook for about 90 seconds until quinoa flakes are soft.  Add salt and honey. Pour mixture into pan, top with raspberries and cloves, and bake for about 10 minutes.
